Daycare Objectives:
- To ensure the safety and well-being of the children served
- To foster social skills such as respect, co-operation and openness to others
- To set up developmentally age-appropriate activities and projects which contribute to the children’s overall development
- To offer homework support by guiding the students to develop effective study habits, promote responsibility and by providing the students with an appropriate place in which to work
Extended Pre-Kindergarten Program
The Extended Pre-Kindergarten program is a continuation of the School Board’s half day Pre-kindergarten program. The educators responsible for the Extended Pre-Kindergarten classes work in collaboration with the school’s Pre-Kindergarten teacher in planning similar activities.

Before & After School Enriched (B.A.S.E.) Daycare Program
The English Montreal School Board’s B.A.S.E. (Before and After School Enriched) Daycare Program is a Quebec government subsidized supervision service offered outside regular class hours for preschool and elementary school children. The B.A.S.E. Daycare Program’s objective is to enhance the lives of children aged four to 12 years old by providing them with enriching educational activities set in a relaxed, safe and nurturing environment.
