First day of class and school supplies
The first day of class for most elementary and secondary students is Wednesday, August 30, 2023. Please note that in many elementary schools Pre-K and/or Kindergarten students follow a progressive entry schedule. Contact your child's school for more information.
Supply lists and entry instructions for your child's grade should be posted on your school's website. If you do not see the information posted please contact your child's school directly.
Registration
Registration for those not previously enrolled will begin on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 for elementary and secondary schools. Parents are asked to call the school in their neighbourhood to make an appointment. Parents are urged to consult the Board’s website at www.emsb.qc.ca, which also contains information about the successful adult education and vocational training programs. Late registration
Late registration is now open for students not previously enrolled in school. Children must be 5 years of age by September 30 to enroll in Kindergarten.
